Darlington town mission.

Brand identity & website

The client

Darlington Town Mission is a local charity based in the North East of England. It aims to reduce isolation and provide companionship for elderly residents that live alone.

The brief

The Charity’s Trustees decided it was time to update the organisations image in an effort to increase donations & attract more volunteers. Its existing logo was confusing and its website hadn’t been updated for years.

Darlington Town Mission approached Clear Brands Grow to create a new brand identity that would better represent the Charity’s friendly nature and a website that provided a better user experience and was easy for volunteers to update.

Our approach

We worked closely with a number of Charity members, from Trustees to volunteers, to create a modern brand identity that reflected the love & care resonating throughout the organisation. This included a Charity-wide survey and workshop.

We also designed & developed a user-friendly website, built on WordPress. It was essential to provide visitors with the right information and encourage them to make a donation or become a volunteer. It was also important that the website acted as a central hub for future marketing efforts.

The outcome

A modern, friendly brand identity including an eye-catching logo & colour palette. An easy to use and update website that matches the new brand identity, clearly calls visitors to act, and gives the Charity a powerful platform to share inspirational stories with supporters.
