The client

Family Tree Gardens is a local garden maintenance company run by brothers Tom & James Nolan. As well as maintaining outdoor spaces of all sizes, Family Tree Gardens offers lawn care, landscaping, garden makeovers, and much more.

The brief

Looking to grow their business online, Tom & James contacted a number of SEO agencies to help them get found more on Google. They received quotes for hugely varying amounts and weren’t entirely sure what they were actually going to get for their money.

When we spoke to Tom & James, we explained that SEO (when done right) can lead to more website visitors. We also pointed out that any SEO effort would be wasted if their website couldn’t convert visitors into leads.

Our approach

We developed a completely new website using WordPress. The homepage was designed to convert visitors into leads by encouraging them to request a quote from Family Tree Gardens. Rather than confusing potential customers, we used the StoryBrand framework to tell a clear, compelling story.

We made it obvious to ideal customers that Family Tree Gardens understood their main problems and then positioned the company as the guide that could solve them.

To increase website traffic, we integrated SEO best practices and on-page content optimisation.

The outcome

A beautiful, clear website that turns more website visitors into leads & customers. Over time, SEO will increase traffic to the website. We’ve also given Tom & James confidence that future marketing activities that drive traffic to the website won’t be wasted.
